Automatic fire and flammable gas detection systems can be used to give early warning of a fire event and allow immediate investigation and/or fire response. Releases of flammable gases from process facility are pose an immediate threat to operations personnel and adjacent population area, and accidental discharges should be detected as early as possible to avoid the possibility of VCEs.
